TASTY ROMAINE CABBAGE SALAD

TASTY ROMAINE CABBAGE SALAD

Great, easy salad; no knives or cutting involved!

Serves 10

  • 1 16-oz (450-g) pkg romaine lettuce 8 oz (225-g)
  • shredded purple cabbage
  • handful raisins or Gefen dried cranberries
  • handful cashews

DRESSING

  • ½ cup Gefen mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • pinch salt

In a large bowl, combine vegetables, raisins or dried cranberries, and nuts. In a small bowl, mix together dressing ingredients. Right before serving, pour dressing over salad and toss to coat.
