Yitzy made it to the ambulance the same time as the stretcher. When he saw the stretcher he almost fainted. It was Mr. Greenbaum
Yitzy knew that look. It meant that if he didn’t listen, he would be in very big trouble for a very long time
Mr. Greenbaum didn’t wait for Yitzy to respond. “Why don’t you and I learn together, Yitzy?” he asked. “Wouldn’t that be a great idea?”
What he’s saying sounds interesting, Yitzi thought. Maybe if I try really hard I can pay attention for at least a few minutes
